# Lirenota > Say what you spent and Lirenota turns it into clean, organized entries. Private on your iPhone, even offline. No spreadsheets, no bank logins. Lirenota is a voice-first money tracker for iPhone. You say what you spent, and it turns the sentence into organized ledger entries, shows each one for review, and asks a short question when something is unclear. Accounts are optional. The ledger is stored only on the iPhone. ## How it works 1. **Just speak**: Say it all in one go. Every item is heard, even several in one breath. 2. **Review at a glance**: Each item becomes a card. Fix anything by saying it, like “make the tea 30”. 3. **It asks, never guesses**: When an amount or account is unclear, Lirenota asks one short question. ## Lire, Lirenota's own on-device AI Lire is a language model trained to understand how people talk about money. It runs entirely on the iPhone, so reports are understood without a connection and are not sent anywhere. Apple Intelligence and an optional cloud provider (with the person's own key and consent) are alternatives. - **Lire Forte** (Recommended): Our most precise understanding. Understands long, mixed reports and follow-up corrections with the highest accuracy. Everyday reports: 100%*. Long, unscripted reports: 95%*. One-time download: 685 MB. - **Lire Breve** (Lighter): Lighter, with the same everyday accuracy. A smaller download that gives the same answers on everyday reports. Good when storage is tight. Everyday reports: 100%*. Long, unscripted reports: 92%*. One-time download: 561 MB. *Measured on Lirenota’s internal evaluation reports; real-world results can vary. Lire works on iPhone 12 or later. Models download once, are checked before first use, and update only when you choose. ## Features - **Works offline**: Lire understands you with no connection at all. - **Find anything**: Search every entry by what you said or what it was. - **Receipts and photos**: Attach a receipt or a photo to any entry. - **Home Screen widgets**: See your numbers without opening the app. - **Fix by voice**: Say “make the tea 30” and it’s changed. - **Undo anything**: Changed your mind? Step back with one tap. ## Facts - Our own on-device AI - Works offline - No bank logins - No ads. No tracking. - Platform: iPhone (iOS). Android is not available yet. - Availability: early access by email (support@lirenota.tech). ## Pages - [Home](https://lirenota.tech/): overview, how it works, Lire, privacy, features and FAQ - [Privacy Policy](https://lirenota.tech/privacy): what stays on the device and what leaves it - [Terms of Use](https://lirenota.tech/terms) - [AI & Your Data](https://lirenota.tech/ai-data): where reports are processed and how the on-device models work - [Full text for AI agents](https://lirenota.tech/llms-full.txt): this summary plus the FAQ and the full legal documents ## Why Lirenota exists **Maker:** Lirenota is a product of [Nytprix](https://nytprix.com), an independent software studio in Khulna, Bangladesh. **The problem.** Most people never keep track of where their money goes. Finance apps expect bank connections, spreadsheets or careful typing, and assume a card-and-bank world. Many people instead live on cash and mobile wallets, speak more than one language in the same sentence, and don't want their financial life on someone else's servers. Typing every tea, rickshaw fare and lunch is too much friction, so tracking stops after a few days. **The idea.** Make recording money as easy as saying it. You talk the way you'd tell a friend ("tea 50, rickshaw 80, lunch 250"); Lirenota turns it into clean entries, shows each one, and asks one short question when something is unclear instead of guessing. **Mission.** Help everyday people understand their own money, privately, with nothing more than their voice. **Principles.** - Private by default: the ledger lives only on the phone; no account, no ads, no tracking. - Works offline: Lire, our own AI, understands reports on the device. - Honest: it never invents an amount or account; it asks. - Simple first: spending can be tracked with no setup; accounts, balances and loans are optional. **What is built.** - A native iPhone app (SwiftUI) with voice capture, review, corrections by voice, activity, accounts, widgets and on-device or optional cloud understanding. - Lire Forte and Lire Breve: our own small language models, fine-tuned from Qwen3.5-0.8B on Lirenota's internal data to turn spoken money reports into structured entries. They run fully on iPhone and are downloaded as verified releases from Hugging Face, and update only when the person chooses. - Support for English and Bangla (including mixed speech) and 12 currencies. **Goals.** - Launch on the iPhone App Store, then Android. - Keep improving Lire's accuracy on long, unscripted and mixed-language reports. - Reach people who have never used a budgeting app, starting in South Asia. **Status.** Pre-launch, built by a solo founder, open for early access at support@lirenota.tech. ## Contact support@lirenota.tech · A product of Nytprix (https://nytprix.com) ## Frequently asked questions ### What is Lire? Lire is Lirenota’s own AI model, trained to understand how people talk about money. It runs entirely on your iPhone, with no connection needed. ### Do I need to connect my bank? No, never. Lirenota has no bank logins. You simply say what you spent. ### Does it work offline? Yes, with on-device AI. Lire (or Apple Intelligence, where your iPhone supports it) understands you without a connection. ### Where is my data stored? Only on your iPhone. There is no account and no server that receives your ledger. ### What does Cloud do? Cloud is optional. If you want it, you add your own provider key and give consent. Nothing goes to the cloud without your choice. ### How big is the on-device AI? It is an optional one-time download: Lire Breve is about 561 MB and Lire Forte is about 685 MB. ### Is there an Android version? Not yet. iPhone comes first. ## Privacy Policy Your ledger stays on your iPhone. Lirenota has no sign-in account or server that receives your reports. ### About this policy This policy covers Lirenota for iPhone and its widgets. Contact us at support@lirenota.tech with questions or privacy requests. Apple, Hugging Face and any cloud provider you choose have their own policies. ### Information on your device Lirenota stores your entries, amounts, currencies, dates, categories, names, notes and report words on your iPhone to provide your records. It also stores files you choose, preferences, reminders, widget summaries and downloaded models. You can track spending without creating an account; optional accounts in the app are financial records, not sign-in accounts. The app also keeps technical events on the device, such as event types, times, error codes and session identifiers, to support operation and troubleshooting. These events are not sent to Lirenota. ### What Lirenota does not collect Lirenota has no sign-in account and no Lirenota server receives your personal data. We do not use your reports to train models. There are no ads, tracking or analytics SDKs. We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising. If you email us, we receive your message and email address so we can respond. ### When data leaves your device - **Cloud processing:** only if you choose a provider and give permission, report text or recorded audio and relevant instructions or context are sent to OpenRouter, OpenAI or Anthropic, as selected. Providers process and may retain data under their own terms. OpenRouter may route requests to the model provider you select. See AI & Your Data. - **Model downloads:** Hugging Face receives a normal web request, including your IP address and device or network metadata. No report or financial data is sent. The app uses its own read-only repository access key; you do not provide one. - **Apple services and backups:** Apple may provide language downloads and, if enabled by you, device or iCloud backups. Apple's terms and settings apply. ### Permissions - **Microphone and speech recognition:** used for reports when you choose to speak; Apple on-device recognition is used when selected and available. - **Notifications:** used for a reminder if you enable it. - **Photos and files:** only items you select in the system picker are added. ### Retention and deletion Entries and attached files remain on your device until you delete the entry or app. Files added during a report but not attached to an entry are removed when the report closes. You can delete entries and accounts, clear learned category choices and account names, remove downloaded models, and delete cloud API keys in Settings. Deleting the app removes its local ledger, attachments and models. iOS may retain Keychain items after deletion, so delete API keys in Settings first. Backups may retain copies; manage or delete them through Apple's settings. Cloud providers may retain data already sent: use their procedures to request deletion. We retain support correspondence only as needed to respond and meet legal obligations. ### Security App data is kept in private device storage and API keys in the iOS Keychain. iOS device encryption helps protect data when configured. Use a strong device passcode and protect your device and any iCloud or device backups. No system is completely secure. ### Your choices and rights You can view and correct entries in the app and delete data as described above. Cloud permission is remembered; you can withdraw it in Settings at any time. Withdrawal does not undo earlier processing. You can also change system permissions in iOS Settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, or request a portable copy of personal data we hold. Contact us to exercise applicable rights or ask a question. We cannot access your on-device ledger; the app does not currently offer a ledger export. You may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. For data held by a cloud provider, contact that provider too. ### Children Lirenota is not directed to children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us personal information can contact us so we can address it. Parents should supervise a child's device use and avoid entering a child's sensitive information. ### Changes We may update this policy as the app or law changes. The effective date and version appear at the top. When the document version changes, the app asks you to accept the updated documents again. ## Terms of Use Lirenota helps you keep your own money records. It is not a bank, an accountant or financial advice. ### Using Lirenota Lirenota helps you keep personal money records. You must be at least 13 to use it. If you are a minor, ask a parent or guardian to review these terms with you. Protect your device and API keys. ### Your records Accounts are optional. Totals depend on what you enter and confirm. Taka is the default, and you can select other currencies; amounts are not converted between currencies. Lirenota does not connect to banks, move money or sync your ledger between devices. Review your entries and retain any records you need. ### Not professional advice Lirenota is a record-keeping tool, not a bank, accountant, financial adviser or lawyer. It does not provide financial, tax or legal advice. Seek qualified advice for decisions that need it. ### AI can be wrong Speech recognition and AI can misread words, amounts or names. Check entries, corrections and totals before relying on them, especially in noisy or mixed-language reports. ### Third-party services Cloud processing is optional and requires your permission and your own API key. Your chosen provider's terms and charges apply. You can withdraw permission and delete your key in Settings. Lire model downloads use the app's read-only repository key; Hugging Face's terms apply to its service. ### Acceptable use Do not use Lirenota unlawfully, harm others, interfere with the app or its services, or bypass its safeguards. ### Availability and ending use Features may change or become unavailable and depend on your device, iOS, language support and third-party services. You may stop using Lirenota and delete the app at any time. We may discontinue the app or limit access where necessary, subject to applicable law and your mandatory rights. ### Warranty and liability To the extent permitted by law, Lirenota is provided as available without warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or losses arising from reliance on inaccurate entries or AI output. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or removes your mandatory consumer rights or remedies. ### Law and disputes The laws of Bangladesh govern these terms, without displacing mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a dispute informally. The courts of Bangladesh may hear disputes, unless local law gives you another forum. ### Changes and contact We may update these terms. The effective date and version appear at the top; when the version changes, the app asks you to accept the updated documents again. Questions: support@lirenota.tech. ## AI & Your Data Understanding runs on your iPhone unless you choose a cloud provider. Nothing goes to the cloud without your choice. ### How reports work Speech is turned into text, then Lirenota interprets your words and checks results before saving. Clear items may save automatically; unclear items can need your input. Review all entries before relying on them. ### Choose where processing happens - **On device:** Apple on-device features, where supported, and Lire Forte or Lire Breve process reports on your iPhone. Speech and text routes are separate choices. - **Cloud:** if you select a cloud route and allow it, report text or audio is sent to the selected provider: OpenRouter, OpenAI or Anthropic. OpenRouter may route your request to your selected model provider. Lirenota does not silently switch to cloud processing. ### Permission and data sent Cloud processing is opt-in. The app asks for permission when needed and remembers your choice. You can change it in Settings under Allow cloud processing; withdrawal stops future cloud processing, not processing already completed. A request can include your report text or recorded spoken turn, instructions and relevant context needed to interpret it. Attached files are not sent to the understanding provider. Do not include information you do not want the selected provider to receive. ### Provider terms and keys Providers process and may retain requests and responses under their own terms and privacy policies, which may change. Review those terms and account settings before consenting; contact the provider about its retention or deletion. Cloud requests use your own API key, stored in the iPhone Keychain. Providers may charge you directly. ### Lire and model downloads Lire Forte and Lire Breve run on your iPhone and do not learn from your reports. Downloading them contacts Hugging Face using the app's read-only repository key. Hugging Face receives your IP address and normal device or network metadata, but no report or financial data. You do not need to enter a token. ### Accuracy AI and speech recognition can make mistakes, especially with noise, mixed languages or unusual names. Check saved items and corrections before relying on them. ### Acknowledgements Lirenota is built with open-source software and models. Thank you to the people who make them. ### Lire models Lire Forte and Lire Breve are Lirenota fine-tunes of Qwen3.5-0.8B, a base model by the Qwen team.
